For nearly five decades, Scotiabank Centre has operated in the heart of downtown Halifax as the home of sports, entertainment, and community. We are proud to showcase another incredible year of marquee moments, legendary performances, and unforgettable experiences as we looked to the future of our arena.

We know that Scotiabank Centre is more than an arena.

This iconic building drives vibrancy to our downtown core, generates economic impact for the region, and continues to build on Nova Scotia’s reputation as one of the best sports and entertainment destinations in Canada. We were proud to host unforgettable events this year: Queens of the Stone Age, Harlem Globetrotters, Billy Idol, the Team Canada Women’s Hockey team, and so many more. We continue to attract a diversity of events that delivers an unmatched experience for fans, athletes, and performers alike.

Through the support of our partners at the Halifax Regional Municipality, Scotiabank, the Halifax Mooseheads and Halifax Thunderbirds, we began building the foundations for Scotiabank Centre’s future. With renewed partnerships and strategic long-term investments, we are excited about the opportunities ahead, while we celebrate what we’ve achieved so far.
